CLIENT READINESS // CLEAR FROM REQUEST TO NEXT STEPS

You sent the property.
Here’s what comes next.

No guessing and no surprise checkout. We review the request first, then confirm the scope, availability, DocuSign agreement, Stripe payment, and final fee directly with you.

How secure payment works DocuSign process

THE PROCESS

Seven clear steps.

Submitting the website form starts a review. It does not charge your card or guarantee an appointment time.

01

Request review

We review the property, requested service, timing, and any special requirements.

02

Scope + final fee

We email you first to confirm the appropriate scope, availability, and final price. If needed, we call the number provided second. A website request is not yet a booking.

03

DocuSign agreement

After scope confirmation, MeridianVault sends the correct written agreement for secure electronic signature.

04

Stripe + scheduling

The confirmed fee is paid through secure Stripe checkout, then the appointment is finalized.

05

Preparation packet

We organize access, utilities, attendance expectations, known concerns, and requested property documents before the visit.

06

Inspection + reviewed report

Field observations are documented, quality-reviewed, and organized into the agreed deliverable.

07

Questions + property next steps

Use the reviewed report, follow-up conversation, and any included property tools to organize what comes next. Optional continuing tools do not replace professional evaluation or repair verification.

BEFORE THE VISIT

Help us see more.
Prepare less stress.

Not every item applies to every property. If something cannot be accessed safely, just tell us beforehand—we’ll document the limitation and discuss practical next steps.

01 / RESIDENTIAL

Home inspection readiness

  • Make sure electricity, water, and gas are on when safely available.
  • Provide access to the attic, crawlspace, electrical panel, HVAC equipment, water heater, garage, and exterior areas.
  • Unlock gates and arrange access instructions, alarm details, or occupied-property coordination.
  • Share known concerns and your decision deadline before the appointment.
  • Keep pets safely secured and move stored items away from major systems when practical.
02 / COMMERCIAL

PCA + commercial readiness

  • Identify the site contact and confirm access to roofs, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, tenant areas, and common areas.
  • Share available plans, prior reports, repair records, rent roll or occupancy context, and known capital projects when relevant.
  • Provide the property type, approximate size, construction year, number of buildings, and due-diligence deadline.
  • Tell us about lender, investor, insurer, or ASTM E2018-24 scope requirements before the fee is finalized.
  • Arrange escorts, keys, roof access, and any safety or operating restrictions in advance.

IMPORTANT

Safety and access come first.

Do not enter unsafe areas, operate damaged equipment, or disturb suspected hazardous materials to prepare for an inspection. MeridianVault’s work is limited to the agreed scope and readily accessible conditions at the time of inspection.
