Know the home’s condition
before the warranty deadline.
An independent, photo-supported inspection helps you organize visible concerns and questions for your builder. Often requested around month eleven, the visit should be scheduled around your actual warranty terms.
No payment to request · Fee, scope, and timing confirmed before booking
A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT
Bring the questions.
We document what is visible.
Share the warranty end date if known, the home’s approximate size, and the concerns you want reviewed. Accessible major systems, observed material defects, and limitations are organized in a written report.
- Confirm your deadline. Check your builder documents; coverage periods can differ by item.
- Request the visit. Enter the property and preferred date. Add the warranty deadline to the request.
- Agree the scope and fee. Availability, access, agreement, and payment are confirmed before booking.
- Use the findings for follow-up. Share relevant observations with your builder and ask about the next steps under your warranty.
YOUR CONDITION RECORD
Clear observations.
Useful questions for the builder.
See how a residential report separates an observed condition, its significance, limitations, and recommended follow-up. This is an illustrative report, not a warranty claim or an actual client project.

Does the inspection guarantee builder repairs?
No. The inspection documents observed conditions. Warranty coverage, claim acceptance, and repairs are determined separately under your builder’s terms.
What if I am already close to the deadline?
Include the actual deadline and your preferred date. We review availability before accepting the job; submitting a request does not reserve a visit.
Can MeridianVault return after repairs?
You can request a separately scoped repair follow-up. The fee, items, access, and deliverable are agreed before a return visit.
What should I have ready?
The address, approximate size, warranty deadline if known, access arrangements, and a list of concerns. Keep private documents out of the public request; document exchange can be arranged after review.
Start before the deadline.
Serving Metro Atlanta, Gwinnett, and North Georgia. We follow up by email first.
